Cartograph Wines
Tastings for Cartograph Wines are held in a sleek, modern room off Healdsburg Square. It’s a small operation (eg the two sparkling wines were sold out—we were told they would be back in the fall—and one of the owners, Serena Lourie was actually there(!) chatting up the customers.
I made the appointment through OpenTable. For $30pp we tasted five wines, including a 2014 to show us the age-ability of their Pinots and the Riesling (my impetus for making the appointment), and a well made Cab Franc. All of the wines were good, but nothing exceptional and we felt overpriced for what they were.
Our host was knowledgeable and friendly and despite having many hard surfaces, the noise level wasn’t overly energetic.
