Limerick Lane Cellars

Limerick Lane is an old name in wine country. The winery is located on a picturesque street—unsurprisingly, named by an Irish immigrant who missed his hometown—about 15min south of Healdsburg. The first vines were planted in 1910 (and are still producing wine today!)

For $40pp we tasted six wines including the Zinfandels they are known for, Rocks & Fog (a GS no M) and a Rosé. All were excellent. It didn’t hurt that our tasting took place out among the vines, and that our host was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was also dog-friendly! Something we’ll keep in mind for next time.
